Lab classes in Berkeley : Hi guys, I understand from the faculty website that engineering lab classes, if any, are indicated as a weekly commitment e.g. 3 hour lab per week. Is it safe to say that these lab classes have to be attended every week or are there only a few lab classes out of the weekly sessions that I am required to attend? Am asking this because 3 hour lab sessions every week does seem quite a lot... Thanks in advance :)) Full Article

ECON 100A/100B/101A/101B : For graduation requirements could I just take ECON 100B/101B to satisfy the requirements or would I need one class from A and B? If so, was thinking about doing ECON 100B fall semester, ECON 101A spring semester and ECON 141 spring semester also. Any feedback would be appreciated for ECON 101A, ECON 141. submitted by /u/Itoldyounottotouchit [link] [comments] Full Article

Math 1B : Is there any way I can skip MATH 1B other than through AP? I got a 5 on Calc AB (had to take it because BC registrations were already full) Can I test out of 1B or something? I’m an international student, and my HS curriculum covered all the material in 1B. I’ve heard the class is really time-consuming so it might not flow well with other courses like 61A and C8. submitted by /u/fivehundred9 [link] [comments] Full Article
