Will I have to take the vision, written, and road tests with an Alberta Class 5 GDL with 9 years experience and a pristine driving record? : It says on the Nova Scotia website that if I have a restricted licence then I may be required to take those 3 tests. I'm assuming restricted means GDL for Alberta. What do they mean by "may" be required to take the tests? I never saw a reason to get my full Class 5 but I'd like my move to NS to be as smooth as possible so should I get the full Class 5 here or is there a chance I could just transfer it without having to retake those tests? Winter weekend suggestions? : Hey fellow Nova Scotians! Looking for suggestions on places to stay for a weekend (either one or two nights) in December, before the holidays. There’s not really much snow by then, but is there something we could do besides just hiking? Coming from Halifax area, willing to travel 1-1.5 hours outside of the area.
