I lived in low income housing for four years. At the end of my time there they were going to raise my rent. I couldn't afford it so i talked to them about what i could do they told me i could do 30day written notice to vacate. I did this, i turned in the notice at the end of January to be put by March 1st.i left my lease 26 days early. I was forced to move out of my 2-year apartment I was constantly harassed by the property manager the agreement with the owner of the property with should I move out I did that the spiteful property manager then placed an eviction notice on my rental record it never went to eviction Court can I sue this landlord and can I get attorneys fees from the landlord

Can a landlord keep your deposit if you moved at the end of the lease but the apartment didn't pass section eight inspection and you reported maintenance repairs while still living in the unit?

We moved in in March on a month-to-month lease a landlord was very pushy by saying he can enter our home at any time he felt like it which is a red flag then she picked up the rent yesterday on the 1st and said I'm going to have you sign this paper stating he was taking possession of the property within 30 days and do a walk-through and he would not be running to us next month with no explanation
