If a zombie outbreak ever started at the salmon creek/hazel dell Winco... : Everyone would fucking die. Why? All the carts blocking isles, families of 5 leisurely strolling through with no regard to anyone else, all the individuals who suddenly stop mid path for no fucking reason... the list goes on. Road closed at NE 78th st : NE 78th Street from NE Saint John's Road to about NE 30th Ave is closed right now. Not sure if its construction or what but they have police cars at either end and the roads are blocked off. Edit: I didnt see any emergency vehicles or construction vehicles just the cops at either end. They could be setting up for some late night construction but I'm not sure. Full Article

Chili’s Mill Plain/164th? : I don’t think I’m going crazy, but was there a Chili’s restaurant at the corner of Mill Plain and 164th? I moved to Vancouver in 2007 and vaguely remember it being where the new 7/11 and Starbucks strip mall is now. Can anyone else confirm my theory? Full Article

Steep hills/trails : Where are the steepest places within 20-30 min of the Hazel Dell area that I can do some training on? I looked on AllTrails but they were all rated as easy with very little gain. The view (or lack of) isn't important to me. I did see that Vancouver's highest point is 171' so maybe I'm just out of luck here. Mt Tabor and Forest Park are the closest options I know of to do during the week. Full Article

Chkalov mural on Evergreen : I just wanted to publicly vent my rage that the awesome mural of Valery Chkalov was removed during the remodel of that building on Evergreen by Main st.
