Potentially moving to Huntington a couple questions. : Hello everyone! I’ve been thinking of moving to Huntington in order to be closer to family and because I’m still an Appalachian at heart. I have a couple questions about how life would be for me. What is life like for queer people in Huntington? I know Stonewall is a pretty cool place, but in general what’s the vibe? Hiking locations nearby : My girlfriend and I are originally from Nicholas Co and do a lot of hiking/fishing/kayaking and camping in the backcountry of cranberry glades and I’m really looking for areas like that within like an hour drive of Huntington. Prefer somewhere kind of out of the way or inside of a nation forest or some other natural geographical landmarks. Anything is welcome; please provide as much detail as you can lol. Full Article

It's also characterized by sandstone foundations and red brick. I've never seen this style outside of Huntington. You can see it easiest at Marshall, but it's kind of all over the place, especially downtown. Do you guys agree? Full Article
