Wildlife centers near richmond that would take a bluebird(?) egg? : I was taking a walk with my dog and in the grass, next to the pavement, with no bush, tree, parent bird, any indication of a ground nest, etc. was a little blue egg. I wasn't even sure if it was a real egg when I picked it up, but it's real. It's light blue, about half the size of a match stick, and my guess is one of the neighborhood cats stole a egg and got freaked out when me and my dog were coming up the street. Where can I take it? Most of the pages I've read so far say It's not worth it to try hatching wild eggs, but I could try calling local rescue services to see if they have room or know what to do. I'm willing to try to save it, but I don't think it's legal for me to have them, and I have two cats. Full Article
