Keeping a beehive outback at a row house? : My wife and I are moving into a place on Wyeth street later this month that has a small fenced in area outback with a small garden area in the corner. We're thinking about setting up a small bee colony in that area as well. The neighbors have plenty of flowering plants and we'll have tomatoes, so we think we can sustain it. Maryland law states that a colony must be 4 feet off the ground and accessed by steps secured by a 3 foot gate, which is doable. Are there any other ordinances that we need to abide by? Could we just have a small hive if we're not using it to sell honey? Thanks! Full Article
