17-year-old arrested in West Valley shooting death : Adobe Stock WEST VALLEY CITY — A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the weekend shooting death of another man over the weekend. The boy, whose name was not immediately released, was arrested for investigation of murder. West Valley police credited the Metro Gang Unit and the U.S Marshal’s Violent Fugitive Apprehension Team for assisting in the arrest. About 6:10 p.m. Saturday, two groups met at Kings Pointe Park, 1330 W. Rothchild Drive (3665 South), to settle an undisclosed conflict, said West Valley police spokeswoman Roxeanne Vainuku. At some point during the confrontation, Lewis Orlando Jensen, 18, was shot and killed. A 16-year-old boy was also arrested Monday for investigation of rioting, Vainuku said. Full Article
