Camp Kesem Miami- Helping Children Through and beyond their Parent's Cancer : Camp Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. Kesem is the largest national organization dedicated to supporting children impacted by a parent’s cancer, at no cost to families. Our innovative and fun-filled programs provide children with peers who understand their unique needs, and create long-lasting impact. Camp Kesem Miami still has spots available for our session two which is from August 11th - August 17th. Camp Kesem offers a support system where they can truly be themselves, express their feelings, and have a blast. Here is a glimpse of the magic of Camp Kesem! Here is the link for the application! If you have any questions, feel free to private message me or you can email []( ! Personally, this has been the most meaningful experience of my life, because I get to help these kids gain their childhood back for a week, and truly see that even in the darkest of time, we can come together to shine some light. I promise you, your children will have the most incredible week, and begin to count down the days till the next time they can go to Camp! Once again this is 100% FREE for families. The campers range from 6-18 years of age, and their cancer experience range such as diagnostic, individual affected (parents, grandparents, aunt, etc), and stage of cancer (treatment, remission, cancer-free, and passed-away) You also do not need to be from the Miami area, all of South and Central Florida could attend this camp.
