Best neighborhoods to buy in? : Hey everyone, I'm currently in the market for a house with my boyfriend. We are planning to live in our home (budget-220k) for a few years and turn it into a rental property several years down the road. We are both late 20's and don't care much about nightlife, but we do go out to eat a lot. Our top priorities are safety, cleanliness/aesthetic, and future rental value. That being said, I'm looking for some current opinions on the top Baltimore neighborhoods. We've looked in Fed Hill with nothing too promising in our budget, so we have expanded to looking at Canton. I've noticed cheaper/nicer homes in Highland town - is this a good area? What about Fells Point or Butchers Hill? I've read lots of conflicting opinions on the neighborhoods and would really just like some up-to-date/first-hand opinions! (I am from Howard County so I am familiar with the downfalls of the city as a whole) Thanks everyone! Full Article
