Your Privacy and Safety - Anonymously post your stories and questions to the renter community. Other renters can help answer your question and the app will suggest tools to help solve it. We have tested safeguards to prevent your landlord, roommates, and others from finding out who posted, including using detection of certain personal information in your posts. After you move out, future tenants and your landlord may be able to see that "a previous tenant" at their address made these posts, but they won't see your name, email, current address, or other identifying info. By default, we assume you've moved out after 4 months of not visiting or using RenterPeace (see settings to adjust). This system is designed to allow renters to safely share stories and information with each other without worrying about ruining relationships with their landlord or roommates. Meanwhile, we can act as a CarFax for apartments, so you can know what problems previous tenants had before moving into your next apartment. If you see anything concerning, you can click on the arrows on the top right of a post to show its details and the click the button to report a problem. More questions?
