How would you "haiku" your neighborhood? : I'd love to hear how you would portray any LDN neighborhood you have a significant connection to (or disdain for) via a haiku. The idea is to get a snapshot of a moment that exudes the essence of the area. My goal is to get all neighborhoods in the city described :) "Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry made of short, unrhymed lines that evoke natural imagery. Haiku can come in a variety of different formats of short verses, though the most common is a three-line poem with a 5-7-5 syllable pattern. Some of the core principles of modern haikus are that a haiku still focuses on one brief moment in time, employs provocative, colorful imagery, and provides a sudden moment of illumination."
