People who've experienced either one or both - London or Manchester? : Im so on the fence with this so any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Mid twenties engineering graduate looking to move to a city again and ive narrowed it down to these two. I think i want London, and the higher cost of living (restaurants/alcohol etc) doesn't bother me, but being able to afford my own flat in Manchester vs a bedroom in a shared house in London is turning my head. Im also quite a sociable person, and would be making the move alone. Ive heard making friends in London can be hard work, magnifying feeling lonely. Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
